Role Overview
We are seeking a Product QA Manager to lead quality assurance efforts for our AI-driven educational products. In this role, you’ll develop and implement testing strategies, lead QA processes, and coordinate with development teams to identify and resolve issues. This position is ideal for someone experienced in quality assurance, testing, or product management, who is passionate about ensuring product reliability and improving user experience in open-source AI tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Implement QA Strategies: Design comprehensive quality assurance strategies, defining testing protocols and standards to ensure the functionality, performance, and reliability of AI products.
- Test Planning and Execution: Oversee the planning and execution of various testing methods, including functional, regression, performance, and usability testing, to validate product quality and performance.
- Bug Identification and Resolution: Coordinate with developers to identify, document, and resolve bugs, ensuring that all issues are tracked and resolved in a timely manner.
- User Feedback Integration: Gather and analyze user feedback to identify quality improvement opportunities and refine QA practices based on user experiences and insights.
- Continuous Process Improvement: Implement and continuously improve QA processes, adopting best practices to enhance efficiency, reliability, and quality in testing procedures.
- Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with product managers, developers, and designers to ensure that quality standards align with user needs and product goals, facilitating smooth product releases.
Requirements
- Experience in Quality Assurance or Product Testing: Background in QA, software testing, or product quality management, with a focus on technology or AI-driven products.
- Proficiency with QA Tools and Testing Frameworks: Familiarity with QA tools and methodologies, such as automated testing tools, bug tracking systems, and test case management software.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Skilled in analyzing testing results, identifying root causes of issues, and developing effective solutions to improve product quality.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, capable of identifying subtle issues in product functionality and user experience that may impact quality.
- Communication and Documentation Skills: Ability to document test results, report findings to stakeholders, and communicate quality standards to cross-functional teams.
- Commitment to User-Centric Quality: Passionate about delivering high-quality AI products that enhance educational experiences, with a focus on user satisfaction and product reliability.
