Role Overview
We are seeking a Product DevOps Manager to oversee the infrastructure, deployment processes, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for our AI-driven educational products. This role involves designing and managing the DevOps framework, optimizing infrastructure for performance, and ensuring the seamless integration of new features. This position is ideal for someone with experience in DevOps, infrastructure management, or software engineering, who is passionate about enabling efficient operations and scalability in open-source AI systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Infrastructure and Cloud Management: Oversee and optimize cloud infrastructure to ensure that AI products are scalable, reliable, and cost-effective. This includes managing servers, storage, and networking components.
- CI/CD Pipeline Development and Maintenance: Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support rapid and reliable deployments, automating processes to ensure consistent delivery of new features and updates.
- Deployment Automation and Orchestration: Streamline deployment workflows, utilizing containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes) to automate and manage application environments.
- Monitoring and Incident Response: Implement monitoring tools to track system performance and quickly address any issues. Establish protocols for incident response to minimize downtime and disruption.
- Collaboration with Development and QA Teams: Work closely with developers and QA teams to align DevOps practices with product goals, ensuring efficient workflows from development through to deployment.
- Continuous Improvement and Optimization: Evaluate and refine DevOps processes, identifying opportunities to improve deployment efficiency, reduce latency, and enhance overall operational performance.
Requirements
- Experience in DevOps or Infrastructure Management: Background in DevOps, infrastructure management, or software engineering, ideally with experience in AI or machine learning environments.
- Proficiency with DevOps Tools and Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and cloud providers like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Automation and Scripting Skills: Proficient in scripting and automation to optimize infrastructure and deployment processes, enhancing efficiency and scalability.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical abilities to assess performance data, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective solutions for operational challenges.
- Collaboration and Communication: Skilled in working with cross-functional teams to align DevOps practices with development and QA needs, ensuring seamless integration and deployment.
- Commitment to Operational Excellence: Passionate about building robust, reliable infrastructure to support high-quality educational AI products that serve diverse user needs.
